Parish Announcements:

IJP Parish Census / Outreach 2009  IJP Census 2009 Page

This month of June we begin the IJP 2009 Census/Outreach program.

This endeavor will give you the opportunity to RENEW, REJOIN AND REJOICE  in your parish. In order to better know who we now are and how to best minister to the congregation, as a whole and as individuals, a census is needed at this time in our parish history. Your participation is vital. All information is confidential and is only used by our parish.

The form will be available in the Church Hall after all Masses June 27/28. The form is also available on the IJP Census Page.

Thank you in advance for your commitment and reinvestment in our parish.

THANK YOU!
IJP VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL 2009

was a GREAT SUCCESS!!!
This was our 5th year for the annual event. Over 100 children from Kindergarten to 5th Grade immensely enjoyed the week long program called Son Rock Kids Camp.
This wonderful ministry is made possible by the outstanding direction and talent
of the Coordinator: Julie Schmidt and the VBS 2009 Committee.
This program used many hours of time and energy from a dedicated group of Parents from RE and IJP School, RE Catechists, School Teachers, Parish High School Students, Confirmation Students, among others. Thank you for all of your fine work! Many Parishioners offered donations of VBS supplies and/or donations of monetary funds. Thank you!! Without these donations, this event would not be possible.
Thank you to Father Mike Nacius, Father Mike Wheaton and Father John Doyle for their participation! Thank you to the IJP Maintenance Staff and the IJP School and Staff for all their help and assistance!

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is designed for adults who, after hearing the mystery of Christ proclaimed, consciously and freely seek the living God and enter the way of faith and conversion as the Holy Spirit opens their hearts. By God’s help they will be strengthened spiritually during their preparation and at the proper time will

receive the sacraments fruitfully.” -The Roman Ritual RCIA

If you, or someone you know, is interested in being baptized Catholic or desires to receive the sacraments of Eucharist, and Confirmation, Infant Jesus of Prague Parish Community is ready to welcome you. If you have any questions or for more information please feel free to contact Fr. Mike Wheaton at 708-799-5400 x 204 or mwheaton66@yahoo.com. The first meeting will take place at the rectory, Thursday, October 30, 2008 starting at 7 pm and ending by 8 pm.
