Youth Group

Teens Growing in Faith (TGIF)

This is a ministry for the high school teens of the parish.  It has a dual purpose: providing religious education to our teens and, through small group sharing, fostering a sense of belonging to the parish community. Both public and parochial high school students are welcome to be members of TGIF.

Teen Bible Study

TGIF is excited to announce our four-part Teen Bible Study program! All members of TGIF, parish teens, junior high students, and friends are invited to take part in our weekly Bible Study centering around the youth experience. These meetings will focus on topics relevant in our world today and will use scripture and faith-based discussions to work through these topics and help build community. Study sessions will be led by Youth Minister Grace Van Beest and will take place in the Teen Room at the Convent from 5-6:30pm on Wednesday nights. We will begin our first session on Wednesday, March 23rd. Teens should bring with them a notebook and a writing utensil. They may bring their own personal Bibles if they so choose. There will be Youth Bibles available to use. Please email (gvanbeest@ijpparish.org) to sign-up for weekly information. A calendar of dates and more information can be found below.
